It is no coincidence that this has come out when the government are looking into the corporate governance of English football. The EPL need to get their house in order otherwise someone else will do it for them.

There is going to be tears when we're found innocent.

  3. It is important that PL act in the interest of equity and fair player against Man City or else the credibility of PL and everything that goes with it is on the line. Football may be destroyed in England with irreparable damage given what has gone on so far!

  4. That lawyer should change his name to Captain Obvious.🙄

  5. Winston Red dijo:

So if they are guilty, ¿will they give the PL titles to the second place of each season?

  6. Pete Edmunds dijo:

Is the presenter drunk? Cant say ramifications, remuneration and many other words 😮

  7. Shame on the ex-directors of the clubs who have had their trophy cash taken away by City winning the trophies. Those people run THE FA and THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

Why do you continually delete my perfectly reasonable comments in defence of my club against the false allegations from the PL ? You are guilty of censorship and the worst kind of journalism a bias viewpoint and not what is expected in a domocratic country where freedom of speech MUST BE PROTECTED !
Nothing to see hear blues 🤪💙. The PL have in point 1 basically accused Manchester City's book keepers, accountants Deloitte, independant accountants and directors of cooking the books from 2009 to 2018. This is a much stronger Civil charge which potentially has criminal consequences than the UEFA charge that was defeated at CAS. Stronger accusations requires greater proof, UEFA couldn't prove a much easier case at CAS.
Points 2 – 4 hinge 100% on proving point 1 point 5 withholding evidence may be proven but Ciry's argument is what PL asked for doesn't exist.
In addition City will have the political will of the UK government firmly behind them. The UAE is one of the UK's largest investors in the UK economy, Manchester City are a big investor in the Manchester area, were about to complete the construction of the largest music arena in Europe.
The PL have effectively committed suicide and this will change football in the UK as we know it.
Keep the faith in our great club and our amazing owners, we have never been let down by them yet and this isn't gonna happen anytime soon 😃😉💙.

I actually feel sorry for the fan's… fair enough they've had the joy of winning titles but they haven't done anything wrong…I don't believe for a second City make the most revenue in the Premier League though and it's quite obvious they've manipulated the figures…I'm a United fan and tbh I don't think the titles should be taken away and it would be sad to see them relegated…but I do feel sorry for the teams and managers who might still have a job finishing 2nd to City…Sad times for football

The established authorities are vexed and seem to harbor a desire to purport a campaign of ethnic discrimination within the League.

  11. a fine would be laughable…. they are in this mess for splurging money, do you think there is a shortage of that now???? take points historically and give the COYS their title!!

Sorry for these comments but I loved going to City since the 1960s.
All I can say is City have the best owners that have ever owned a football club.  If you get a set of scales (of Justice) and put the 100 'breaches' on on one side – lots of small accounting errors and things that are not against business law but are against these EPL rules and on the other side put all the good stuff – 140 charitable initiatives via CITC on the go at anyone time, plus £2.5 billion investment in infrastructure creating 1000s of jobs, plus regeneration of East Manchester, plus all the new facilities can be used by local school children, plus helping the City Council with the redevelopment of Maine Road creating 1000s new housing, plus when the terrible Arena bomb happened City opened up all their facilities to the rescue effort. Cuty have boosted the importance of the EPL as well and are a very friendly club. To me those scales are weighed down on the side of good things the owners have done.
Also, the EPL are not dealing with just football club but a whole section of society going back 100 years plus, families across all sections and cultures love City. Millions of people love City. This is what I mean by what the EPl are dealing with…more than a million people line the streets IN 1934 showing their love of City – search YouTube for the video of their home coming with the FA Cup in 1934 to see see what the EPL are really dealing with !

The Premier League should announce exactly what the punishment is likely to be – since the speculation is very damaging alone.

  15. Willster A dijo:

All I can say is if the breaches are purely financial then any punishment should be financial.  It is not the fans fault – generations of fans have loved and supported this club since 1894, they have millions of fans to.  It is not the player's fault or any of the thousands of workers, whose livelihood depends on City. It is not the fault of all the local school kids that use the facilities at the Etihad. Plus spending a lot of money is no guarantee of success – look at Chelsea now record amounts spent no luck, Man Utd outspent City last 7 years and no trophies so no EPL do not throw the baby out with the bathwater and damage a big section of society.

    Like city like Trump 🥁🎺🎻🏃‍♂️

  17. Every club that City have affected financially should sue them. Hopefully get into billions of compensation to the competition that they cheated. Let's see how deep oil money goes.

Typical lawyer that speaks a lot and says nothing. The host provided more information in the beginning than the side stepping lawyer did. The lawyer just expounded on the rules, but had nothing to say about comparative enforcement actions in the past against other clubs. I was hoping for at least a comment about how could so many violations be considered "innocent administrative errors". The biggest thing in this video is MC's failure to cooperate and provide information in the past. They always say the cover up is worth than the crime. People just don't know history, even supposedly smart people.

  20. Matt dijo:

They've got to come down hard on city. Habitual cheats. They need making an example of.

I Really Hope Manchester City Get Dropped From The Premier League without Question this is a Secret That No Club Should Ever Keep Wheather it's Tryna Sneak There Way out of Tryna get out the 100 Breches that They Have Broken within the last few years up till Now

Look at Derby & Brentford they Got Chucked out into League One and I'm Talking this from a Wolves Fan Prospective I'm just Shocked why huge a Huge Club Like Manchester City would do something like this 😱
