I’m hoping that the match against Chelsea at the bridge so early might be be a good thing. If Conte gets his players in, and gives them a proper preseason, and meanwhile Chelsea struggles with their transition, we might have a rare chance to take all 3 points this year.
But then again, it’s Chelsea. They never do us any favors.

Those first 3 games will be a good indication as to how far we have come as a team. All 3 beat us last season so it will be tough,but I have to believe we can do better against them this season. COYS

A set of fixtures which could give very, very good or quite bad runs: of the first 7 away games, six are against top half opposition and four are against 'Big Six' opponents, with the other two being West Ham and Brighton. At the start of the second half of the season, there are four home games against Arsenal, City, West Ham and Chelsea! However, the first six away fixtures of the second half are against eminently beatable opponents. Looks a pretty fair test to me, currently no ridiculous Sunday-Wednesday double headers against top 4 opponents!
