Not very optimistic at the start of this season. We should have really capitalized on winning the CL last year and extended contracts for Christensen and Rudiger. Instead, we went on a selling spree which has really left us bodiless in defensive positions.

As an American, I love how there's only a couple of months between PL seasons. In AM sports, the off-season is ofter longer that the season itself.

Seems like cfc don't have any clear strategy as to what they should be doing as regards transfers in this transfer window. It's becoming a major concern.
Good preparation brings about success but we look like we have lost our ambition with regards to our attitude in the transfer market
I kept hearing don’t worry about not signing any players the fixtures aren’t even out yet well they are now and no signings just speculation. The players TT wants are likely to go to other clubs if we don’t get moving.

Reading these comments is laughable, it's widely reported that we are not only backing TT in this window but that he is getting final say, and yet because in mid-June we haven't splashed any cash, we will now not be competitive next season, barring injuries we are already competitive without Lukaku, add to that the obvious transfers that will happen i.e Dembele and Multiple CB's, and if we're able to move players perhaps rice or an alternative, now we are serious contenders.
