  1. Bello Oricha dijo:

The question should be for players who won both, not for a bunch of underachievers like the clueless folks discussing ignorantly. Please, advise them for next time.

  2. leviathon18 dijo:

I think if you gave both sides the offer of switching, i think both want what each other have right now and city take the champions league final and liverpool would take the premier league lead.

  3. The name speaks for itself it's a 'champions league'

  4. In the champions league you don't play against promoted championship teams and teams struggling like Burney, Everton, and Norwich. CL is the biggest trophy

  5. It's called "CHAMPIONS " league where the champion play against a champion so if you can win PL and can't win CL that says a lot

  6. I personally feel if I was a man city fan to me both the Premiership title and the champions league are just as important as each other they are huge now In my humble opinion win both regularly is what city fans and surely management and players at man city will want.

  7. Top players are attracted to clubs that can challenge for the champions league, which City do on a regular basis. I think for players the champions league is bigger. Maybe not to all fans.

  8. Neil G dijo:

It depends where you are. If you win the champions league having not won the league it's devalued, if you win it having not won your league for a long time it's almost meaningless but a big achievement. If you win the league it's huge. If you win it over and over but do nothing in Europe you can't really be considered one of europes best, which as the Premier league is promoted as the best in Europe creates a weak look to the league. If you win both it's the pinnacle and huge crowning achievement

  9. CL obviously if you want a global recognition , there is millions of football fans and half of them don't care about who wins league titles outside of hes country league but pretty much all the football fans watches Champions league. Winning CL is the greatest achivment for a club and second greatest(1. is always world cup) achivment for a player you can see that when player does great in CL their net worth rockets not so much if they do great in league.

  10. Coach Moe dijo:

Respectfully this is a nonsense question

  11. Man Manifest dijo:

Champs is bigger because it progresses to two more competitions on top of what it already is.

  12. Mr Roazam dijo:

Come on. That's so easy to answer. CL champion is considered as the best club of Europe. PL champion is only one domestic best club of England.

  13. Need to start making inroads on reals 13

  14. Linse Sunny dijo:

Ucl of course, only fans of club who have only won league would say that ucl is not the biggest, to make their club look big, simple fact. City spent billions not to win league, even now haaland is brought not to win a league which they dominate for last years, its been like a Liverpool City league tbh, the competition for top4 is more difficult than title in pl. Uefa champions league is full of elite teams across the Europe. While pl or any league is a domestic competition played between their neighbours they have known for each other for decades. Ucl is top 100%

  15. manga Bell dijo:

The CL is a little more bigger and more prestigeous than than any league. It carries a team that has won it especially many times to another level. It is a european club tittle as compared to just country tittle. The CL carries more weight and popularity, also because it is the biggest club competition in europe as compared to just country.

  16. Eyayaw dijo:

    England vs Europe.

  17. In any way you did call it from the Kopp ex city player you were right it's been a lot of years but it's over and the better team won , good night Lineker ?

  18. It's champions league, stop priding the Premier league

  19. Ak Go dijo:

    Champions League 100%

  20. Darren Walsh dijo:

Can you smell what Carra is saying full off it

  21. Niyas Tk dijo:

As a Liverpool fan i would be happier if liverpool winning the league. For a city fan it would be UCL instead of PL.

  22. This kind of absurd discussion is only possible in England .

  23. KD dijo:

    what is micah doing here?

  24. Pat Mooney dijo:

Obviously winning your own league is much bigger than champions league. It's not actually a champions league as teams who never win their own league are in it so in reality you can win the champions league without ever winning your own league

  25. Movie Magic dijo:

A Team will never be considered one of the Giants in European football until they win the Champions League. Man City can join clubs like Anderlecht, CSKA Moscow, Malmo etc who dominate their domestic leagues but fail in Europe.
Ask any player and they would love to retire with a Champions League medal to end their career.
It's like comparing winning the Euros with the World Cup

  26. I've got a few mates who are city supporters and going on what they have said michah is wrong city fans want the champions League above anything

  27. It's a no brainer… champions league hands down. See the concept… Champions League is about taking top 4 clubs from each league and putting them against each other. And that's also the reason why Real Madrid is the best club in the world having won the competition more than the next two clubs combined . That's royalty

  28. 100% CL, no debate needed.
You're competing against the top clubs in Europe.
PL you're playing against the likes of Burnley, Leeds, Brentford, Brighton, Wolves, Noriwch etc.

  29. BLKSWN BLKO dijo:

Champions League is far more greater, no debate

  30. Which title is more prestigious. Definitely the champions League as it is the best against the best. League titles can be shallow for some leagues that are weak or teams that are cheque book teams that should be expected to win their leagues such as man city, real Madrid

  31. Champions league my friend… That's the ultimate prize for any footballer

  32. Percy Soto dijo:

    – Despite the quality of the Premier, the top teams of Spain, Germany, Italy, England, etc. beat it in therms of quality (and by no small margin).
    – The premier is the best, but also overrated. For a league where every team is supposedly strong, it only managed 3 Europa Leagues in the last 20 years, and who got them? Chelsea and Manchester United. In contrast, the Spanish teams got 11 with Atletico, Sevilla, Villareal and Valencia….
    – On the lenght/ consistency all season argument – the competition goes on for 8 months I believe. That argument of consistency throughout the season is pretty weak.
    – On the competition not allowing for mistakes. This point is clearly in favor of the champions. If it is not allowing to many mistakes it means is harder.

    – Opinion of the world > opinion of England.
Let's stop this argumentent already. It is stupid to argue in favor of the Premier above the CHAMPIONS.

  33. P. Alex dijo:

You can never value the Champions league if you have never won one.
Yes the EPL is a top, top trophy, but to win the UCL against the other big clubs in Europe is a major task that only a few have performed.

  34. Yeah just finished Ibrahimović's biography and he has a similar sentiment to Jamie. I guess it's about goals. As soon as you've won a domestic league once or twice the next (and ultimate) goal has to be the Champion's League. You need to conquer Europe to be considered one of the great teams. IMO

  35. vuong1960 dijo:

The richest clubs win domestic leagues! The passionate clubs win CLs! End of story lol

  36. Ronny Ron dijo:

Carragher is 100% correct. It is not even close. UCL >>> PL
